Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller have split up again. The former ‘Two and a Half Men’ actor and the reality TV star rekindled their relationship in August, despite their divorce being finalised just months earlier, and Brooke moved into Charlie’s Los Angeles mansion. However, the couple – who have two-year-old twins Bob and Max together – have decided it’s best for them to be apart and Brooke has now moved out of the property.
A source told X17online: “Brooke tried to make it work because she and Charlie do care about each other. But, ultimately, it just wasn’t working. She’s in a really positive place now, and realised it’s best for her and the kids if she moves on.”
In August, Charlie took Brooke on holiday to Mexico as they celebrated rekindling their romance.
The pair – who have both battled drink and drug problems in the past – chose the country because they felt they could relax and be themselves.
A source said: “They have been here three times before. Charlie says Mexico is paradise and he feels completely relaxed here.”
As well as remaining close to Brooke, Charlie is also on good terms with another former spouse, Denise Richards.
The actress has two daughters, Sam, seven, and six-year-old Lola, with the 46-year-old star and despite an initial messy break-up, the pair have remained close for the sake of their girls.
