Charlie Sheen is doing “fine”. The ‘Two and a Half Men’ actor – who yesterday (28.01.11) entered rehab following a string of parties and allegations of cocaine use – believes people don’t understand him and branded those who don’t “get it”, “turds”.

In a text to the editor of RadarOnline around the same time he entered rehabilitation, he said: “I’m fine. People don’t seem to get it. Guy can’t have a great time and do his job also? Bunch of turds.”

The CBS network – which employs Charlie in ‘Two and a Half Men’ – said in statement it was “profoundly concerned for his health and well-being” and put production on the show on a hiatus.

According to sources earlier this week, Charlie was snorting and smoking cocaine during a 36-hour partying session and on Thursday (27.01.11) he was taken by ambulance to Los Angeles’ Cedars Sinai Medical Centre.

Charlie – who has two daughters, Lola, six and Sam, five with ex-wife Denise Richards and 22-month old twin boys Bob and Max with estranged partner Brooke Mueller – has since entered an unnamed rehabilitation facility, which his representative said he had done “voluntarily”.

He said: “Charlie Sheen has voluntarily entered an undisclosed rehabilitation center today. He is most grateful to all who have expressed their concern.”

TV producers also released a statement, adding: ” Due to Charlie Sheen’s decision to enter a rehabilitation center, CBS, Warner Bros. Television and executive producer Chuck Lorre are placing ‘Two and a Half Men’ on production hiatus.”
