Elijah Wood can’t wait to get married and have children. The actor is excited about having a family one day, but he is in no rush to tie the knot and have kids, despite turning 31 next January. He told BANG Showbiz: “Eventually I want to get married and have kids. I don’t have it written down when it’s going to happen for me at the moment though. “I would love to have a family one day. I’ve got a lot of friends who have families and it’s a time in my life that I look forward to. It’s also the kind of thing where you need to have things in place beforehand.”

The Hollywood star – who split up from Gogol Bordello drummer Pamela Racine last year – has spent most of his adult life filming the ‘Lord of the Rings’ films but despite his busy career he always makes time to date.

Elijah – who played Frodo Baggins in the movie trilogy and reprises his role in the upcoming ‘The Hobbit’ films – explained: “I’ve been busy so I’m not in a relationship at the moment, but there’s always time for women.”

But Elijah – who voices dancing penguin Mumble in new animated movie ‘Happy Feet Two’ – is more likely to find a possible bride-to-be in a bar rather than a nightclub, because he isn’t keen on visiting such establishments.

He explained: “I’m an OK dancer. I don’t really have a style. I dance to soul and funk music, sometimes I just tap my foot. I don’t really go to clubs, I go to bars.”
