Sarah Jessica Parker has admitted she couldn’t cope without her babysitter. The 46-year-old actress – who has son James Wilkie, eight, and 22-month-old twin daughters Loretta and Tabitha with husband Matthew Broderick – finds it challenging to raise the kids while maintaining a busy acting career but says hiring help is the only way to fit it all in.
Speaking in Cannes where she is promoting her new movie ‘I Don’t Know How She Does It’, Sarah told the Mail on Sunday newspaper: “It’s so tough for us girls, especially with kids. I manage like the rest of us, I have a babysitter which is how I manage to be here doing this, Yes, it’s all a challenge, but you know, we get by.”
Sarah has previously revealed she hates the thought of being away from her children so much that she “could die”.
Along with her acting career, she is also President and Chief Creative Officer of fashion label Halston and said she dreads how much time has to take out of family life for her career.
She said: “Even now I think about the separation and it makes my stomach hurt. I think about my son waking up on his birthday without me there, and I could die.”
