Charlie Sheen is “honoured” by the exit planned for his ‘Two and a Half Men’ character. The 45-year-old actor was sacked from the sit-com in March because of his erratic behaviour and public criticism of programme creator Chuck Lorre, and after learning his alter ego Charlie Harper will get run over by a Paris subway train and blows up in a “meat explosion”, he says he thrilled by the way his departure will be explained to viewers. He told website TMZ: “I am honoured that it took something as large and violent as an oncoming train to terminate my character.

“Anything less would have been an insult!”

Meanwhile, Charlie’s former ‘Two and a Half Men’ co-star Jon Cryer has admitted the actor’s sacking was an “awful” thing.
Jon – who was branded a “troll” by Charlie – told Los Angeles TV station KTLA: “I never want to go through that again.

“It was an awful thing to be part of. I’m glad that some peace has come out of it. I was surprised with everything that went down.”

Charlie recently insisted he is looking forward to seeing the show when it returns with Ashton Kutcher in the lead role.
He said: “I think Ashton’s gonna kill it.

“It’ll be nice to know that they get some carryover ratings from people being sorta curious about what happened to their guy.”
